Boston Rallies Past Indiana in Thrilling Opener

The Boston Celtics escaped with a 133-128 overtime win over the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of the 2024 Eastern Conference finals on Tuesday. Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics with 36 points, while Jaylen Brown hit a clutch 3-pointer to force overtime.

The Pacers led by 11 points with just over three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, but the Celtics rallied to tie the game and send it to overtime. Brown's 3-pointer came with just seconds remaining in regulation.

In overtime, the Celtics took control of the game and eventually pulled away for the win. Marcus Smart added 24 points for the Celtics, while Domantas Sabonis had 27 points and 15 rebounds for the Pacers.

The win gives the Celtics a 1-0 lead in the series. Game 2 is scheduled for Thursday night in Boston.
